Lenskart Posts ₹61.2 Crore Profit in Q1 FY26 | Strong Online Growth Drives Earnings

Eyewear retailer Lenskart has reported a profit of ₹61.2 crore for the first quarter of FY26, marking a sharp turnaround from previous losses. The growth was supported by robust demand in both online and offline segments, along with expanding global operations.

Lenskart, India’s leading omnichannel eyewear retailer, reported a net profit of ₹61.2 crore in Q1 FY26, marking a strong comeback from the ₹32 crore loss it recorded in the same period last year.

The company’s total revenue rose nearly 20% year-on-year to around ₹785 crore, powered by steady growth in both online and offline channels. The brand’s expansion into global markets such as Singapore, UAE, and Saudi Arabia also contributed to the improved performance.

Lenskart’s CEO, Peyush Bansal, said that the company’s focus on technology, faster delivery, and customer experience has helped increase repeat purchases and brand loyalty.

He added, “We’re building a global eyewear brand from India, and our goal is to make high-quality eyewear affordable and accessible everywhere.”

The company has been aggressively expanding its offline presence, crossing 2,000 stores globally, while its online platform continues to be the largest contributor to overall sales.

Lenskart’s continued investment in AI-powered recommendations and precision lens technology has also helped it stand out in the competitive eyewear market.

Outlook

Analysts expect Lenskart to maintain its growth momentum, supported by:

  • Expansion in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Indian cities
  • Global store launches
  • Continued focus on innovation and affordability

If the trend continues, Lenskart could be among the few Indian unicorns achieving consistent quarterly profitability.
